Join a diverse, collaborative team with a strong purpose: **creating real impact for our clients and the world.** **What will be your impact?** We are looking for a **Fiber Optic Manager**, whose mission will be to manage, plan, and supervise fiber optic segments of Assets, ensuring information updates, inspection and maintenance of fiber optic cable laying, and collaborating with field teams to guarantee operational continuity and efficiency. **Key responsibilities** * Manage and update fiber optic systems, spreadsheets, and diagrams. * Plan and coordinate field inspections and surveys of fiber optic segments. * Georeference and record segment-specific features to ensure efficient operations. * Maintain up-to-date fiber optic inspection and maintenance plans. * Identify requirements for new segments and renewal of existing ones. * Supervise progress of fiber optic cable laying alongside field teams. **What are we looking for?** **Mandatory requirements:** * Technical degree in Communications, Technology Infrastructure, Connectivity, Networks, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Electronics. * **2+ years** of experience managing MEL fiber optic infrastructure and maintaining fiber optic segments. * Residency in **Antofagasta or surrounding areas**. * Knowledge of fiber optic inspection and maintenance. * Experience in managing fieldwork risk. * Class B driver’s license. **Desirable requirements:** * Experience with Profibus networks. * Proficiency in computer tools such as email and Microsoft Office. * Basic English proficiency. **Work modality:** Onsite shifts **Benefits that make a difference** At NTT DATA, we believe work must go hand-in-hand with your well-being.
