Job Summary: Alstom is seeking masons to maintain work areas, review blueprints, form joints, assist in concrete pouring, and perform finishing touches and corrections. Key Responsibilities: 1. Execute construction joints and apply sealants **Mason (4 vacancies)** **Construction Supervisors / Carpenters / Cabinetmakers / Masons \- Masons** ================================================================================================================ ### **CONTACT INFORMATION** **Company:** Alstom **Economic activity:** Electricity ### **DESCRIPTION** Main responsibilities: \-Maintain the work area clean, organized, and free of elements that could cause incidents. \-Prepare the work area by ensuring cleanliness, order, and proper arrangement of tools and materials. \-Review blueprints and sketches, verifying slab levels, slopes, and alignment axes. \-Form expansion joints, construction joints, and recesses by performing controlled cuts to depth and thickness as specified in design documents, technical specifications, and approved drawings. \-Assist in receiving concrete from mixer trucks and operating the Slipform paver, verifying slump and temperature. \-Pour, distribute, and vibrate concrete according to the applicable method (manual and/or automated), avoiding segregation and ensuring proper reinforcement cover. \-Screed, level, and control flatness using hand tools specific to this trade, correcting with a darby or trowel. \-Execute construction joints during pouring, maintaining clean edges and slab continuity. \-Seal joints where applicable, performing cleaning, primer application, backup cord placement, and sealant application per procedure. \-Apply curing membrane or coverings to prevent surface cracking. \-Perform immediate finishing and corrections: post-Appitrack terminations, adjustments after formwork removal, edge definition, and repair of spalling or marks. \-Etc. Requirements: \-2 years of experience in civil works, participating in basic concrete placement, finishing, formwork, and rebar activities. Experience in pavement and slab works, as well as railway site operations, is desirable. \-General knowledge of civil works, finishing, pavements, and general understanding of blueprints related to railway track installation.
