A prominent industrial company is seeking a Production Operator to join its team in the Metropolitan Region. The main responsibility will be to set up and run production processes on all conventional machines in the production area, in order to efficiently manufacture high-quality parts and ensure achievement of the department’s safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives. Perform tasks related to setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) equipment, repairing equipment, and modifying programs as needed. Key responsibilities include: * Operating machines in machine shops according to workload. These machines include conventional machinery and CNC machinery. * Ensuring safety when using tools and machines in the CNC and machine shop areas. * Managing receipt of raw materials and supplies for the production area. * Cleaning and maintaining the workstation and common areas. * Setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) equipment (specifically: machining centers, laser cutters, and/or hydraulic CNC press brakes), repairing equipment, and modifying programs as needed. * Exercising judgment to load programs, adjust equipment, troubleshoot issues, and verify product quality within standard methods and procedures. * Designing fixtures and tools and modifying machining methods to reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality. * Exercising substantial judgment to determine processing methods and tooling requirements for machining new parts, especially when only general guidelines are available—requiring broad decision-making that demands considerable initiative and ingenuity. Application Requirements: * Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience. * Formal training as a CNC Machine Operator. * In-depth knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with operational procedures for computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools. Employment Conditions: * On-site work. * Monday to Thursday, 8:00–17:00 hrs; Friday, 8:00–15:00 hrs
