DataScope is a Chilean software company digitizing business operations across more than 40 countries, with strong market growth. Are you passionate about writing clean code, solving complex problems, and building SaaS products with global impact? If the idea of leaving your mark on a fast-growing startup excites you—and you have experience with Ruby on Rails and React—we’re looking for you! ### **Responsibilities** * Architectural decision-making: Collaborate with the team to shape the technical structure of our product. * Code that inspires: Serve as a technical quality reference, both on the Backend and Frontend. * Develop new features: Your ideas will become tools that make a real difference for our users. * Ensure quality: From unit tests to code reviews, you’ll focus on delivering flawless work. * Optimization: Improve API and internal process performance, ensuring efficiency. * Identify edge cases: Proactively anticipate potential issues to maintain product excellence. ### **Competencies / Skills** * Experience with Ruby on Rails and React. * Experience in SaaS companies and/or startups. * Solid knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/SQL). * Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. * Adaptability to change: Always ready to innovate. * Effective communication: To collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead technical discussions. * Teamwork: Because magic happens together. * Mentorship: You enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting team development. ### **➕ Bonus Points** * UNIX server management (Ubuntu, Fedora, etc). * Redis, Sidekiq, or Firebase. * AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda). * Docker, Sentry, or RSpec. * Advanced Git proficiency. * Any CI/CD solution. ### **What You’ll Get as Part of the Team** * Hybrid work model.
