




Job Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for a key role in the development, evaluation, and permitting of PMGD, PMG, and Utility-Scale solar and BESS projects. Key Highlights: 1. A Chilean company specializing in renewable energy, located in the Metropolitan Region (RM), is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its generation team and assume a key role in the development, evaluation, and permitting of PMGD, PMG, and Utility-Scale projects, with a focus on solar energy and BESS. Responsibilities: - Conduct pre-feasibility studies for PMGD, PMG, and larger-scale projects - Design, develop, and manage grid connection processes until obtaining the corresponding permits and milestones - Analyze available grid connection capacities and propose optimization strategies for projects - Review, correct, and validate drawings and associated engineering documentation - Coordinate timelines and requirements with technical, environmental, and legal teams - Manage grid connection processes with distribution companies and the National Electric Coordinator - Develop, analyze, and review electrical studies according to each project’s requirements - Support and coordinate the team of study analysts - Attend technical meetings with institutions, companies, and clients - Conduct site visits when required by the project Knowledge: - Grid connection studies and power flow analysis - Permitting procedures for SAC, SUCTD, Article 102, SCR, commissioning, and construction declaration - Development and review of single-line diagrams and electrical engineering documentation - Generation studies, modeling, and analysis of distribution and transmission networks - Evaluation of grid connection points and definition of connection strategies for PMGD, PMG, and Utility-Scale projects - Knowledge of electrical and market regulations, including Supreme Decree No. 88 and Supreme Decree No. 244 - Proficiency with tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PVSyst, AutoCAD, and related software - Knowledge of BESS and solar energy project structuring Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering - More than 2 years of experience in similar roles - Functional English for meetings, coordination, and technical review - Class B driver’s license Conditions: - Employment under Article 22, therefore no time clocking required.
