




Job Summary: We are seeking Kitchen Assistants for supermarket casinos with experience in hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry, and knife handling. Key Highlights: 1. Apply your knowledge of blanching, technical culinary vocabulary, and cooking methods. **We are looking for Kitchen Assistants for supermarket casinos!** If you have experience in **hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry, and knife handling**, and you are **responsible, organized, and flexible**, apply with us and join our team! * **Net salary:** $512\.946 \-$521\.031 * **Schedule:** **6x1** shift pattern (Monday to Sunday, rotating, with 2 legally mandated Sundays off). * **Shifts: (must be available for both AM & PM shifts)** * AM: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. * PM: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. **Requirements** * **Education:** Technical secondary-level qualification in gastronomy, higher technical diploma, or relevant courses related to the position. * **Experience:** Minimum 6 months (preference given to institutional food service experience). * **Production capacity:** Between 100 and 200 portions. * **Ability to work under pressure.** **Knowledge:** Concepts such as blanching, technical culinary vocabulary, and cooking methods. * Basic kitchen knowledge. * Types of cuts and use of cutting boards. * GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). * Preparation of side dishes, soups, and creams. ### **Responsibilities** * Supervise and manage a station (cold kitchen). * Assist the head chef and chef de partie in preparing soups and side dishes. * Perform **mise en place**. * Prepare between 100 and 150 portions. * Perform minor side-dish-related tasks. ### **Benefits** * Meal allowance at the casino. * Uniform. * Other benefits and overtime pay.
