At **Francia Aroma S.A.**, a Chilean company with over 30 years of experience in developing and manufacturing flavors for the food industry, we are seeking to hire a **Laboratory Assistant** to support our **Head of Development and Innovation** in daily laboratory activities. If you are an organized, responsible individual eager to learn about aromatic development and passionate about technical work, we want to meet you! **What will be your mission?** Provide operational support in laboratory activities, including sample preparation, weighing, material organization, and maintaining order—contributing to new product development and adherence to the company’s quality and food safety standards. **What are we looking for?** **Education** * Middle-level or Higher-level Technician in Chemistry, Chemical Laboratory, Food Technology, or related field. * Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience (not mandatory). **Desired Knowledge** * Basic handling of laboratory instruments and materials. * Fundamental knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). * Knowledge of food safety is desirable. **Competencies** * Organization and tidiness. * Attention to detail. * Responsibility and commitment. * Proactivity. * Ability to work in a team. * Eagerness to learn and develop professionally. **Main Responsibilities** ✔ Prepare samples for development, evaluation, and shipment to customers. ✔ Collaborate with the Head of Development and Innovation on daily laboratory activities. ✔ Perform weighing of raw materials and formulations according to established procedures. ✔ Maintain cleanliness and order in the laboratory, materials, and equipment. ✔ Assist in preparing and updating laboratory records. ✔ Monitor and organize inventory of supplies and materials used in the department. ✔ Comply with the company’s quality, food safety, occupational health and safety, and environmental standards. **Working Hours** **Workplace:** San Bernardo. **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, **08:30–17:00**, with a **30-minute lunch break**. **Benefits** Cafeteria (lunch).
