We are bridging two worlds—advancing toward more sustainable energy sources while simultaneously helping provide the energy, chemicals, and resources needed today. **Objective:** To be responsible for performing and assigning moderate-to-complex tasks involving independent judgment or discretion related to drafting or modeling work, to determine a course of action for projects consistent with organizational policies and functional goals. **Responsibilities:** • Typically possess more than 3 years of experience in relevant disciplines. Have an intermediate understanding or knowledge of certain industry codes, standards, and best practices. • Have experience performing drafting and modeling tasks in conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for industry projects (Oil \& Gas, Mining, Infrastructure, etc.). • Capable of providing recommendations that include complete solutions within the scope of drafting or modeling work. Difficult, complex, or unusual decisions are generally referred to more experienced discipline members such as engineers, who retain full design responsibility. • Work with some autonomy on assigned tasks regarding general requirements and priorities. • Receive assignments related to projects with specific objectives and priorities. May supervise activities or receive supervision for accuracy, integrity, and objective achievement. May receive supervised/self-directed training in more advanced discipline-specific practices/applications. • Work collaboratively in teams of up to 4 direct reports consisting of less-experienced designers within the same discipline. • Maintain consistent and effective communication with the work team to inform and persuade on complex issues and problems through preparation and delivery of presentations and reports, as well as collaboration with stakeholders and discipline management. • Competent in using tools such as Microsoft 365 and Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams). Can navigate intranet pages, perform searches, and retrieve information. Can organize information from multiple sources and retain it according to established formats and policies. • Work competently and efficiently with specialized design, analysis, and modeling tools, and interdisciplinary data-centric methods. • Build appropriate, constructive, and effective relationships across the organization; use diplomacy and tact, remain approachable, and communicate clearly, accurately, and coherently both verbally and in writing.
