JUNJI invites all its staff to apply for the position of Early Childhood Technician, Grade 24° EUS, at Las Ardillitas Kindergarten, Parral Commune, Maule Region. This position’s mission is to participate in children’s learning processes, safeguarding the holistic well-being of young children together with their families and communities, and generating high-quality, relevant, and meaningful learning experiences.

**I.\- Who May Apply**
Applicants must be employed by JUNJI Maule under any legal employment status, subject to the following special considerations:
* Applicants currently holding a contract-based position must have at least six months’ seniority in their current role.
* Substitute staff must hold a valid appointment issued within the last two calendar months prior to the application date.
**II.\- Requirements**
To enter the Public Administration, applicants must meet the following requirements set forth in Article No. 12 of Law No. 18,834 on the Administrative Statute:
* Be a citizen.
* Have complied with the Recruitment and Mobilization Law, where applicable.
* Be in good health compatible with performing the duties of the position.
* Have completed basic education and possess the educational level or professional/technical degree required by law for the nature of the position. For positions governed by this law requiring a secondary education license, persons with disabilities aged 18 or older who have completed their studies through special education modalities shall be deemed to satisfy this requirement. All of the above complies with Supreme Decree No. 83, 2015, issued by the Ministry of Education, approving curricular adaptation criteria and guidelines for students with special educational needs in early childhood and basic education—or any subsequent regulation replacing it. (Law 21690, Art. 2°, No. 1, Official Gazette, 24.08.2024).
* Not have been dismissed from a public office due to receiving an unsatisfactory performance evaluation or as a disciplinary measure, unless more than five years have elapsed since the termination of functions. However, as established in Article 121 of this Statute, compliance with said time period shall not be required if so determined by the respective fiscal officer. (Law 21643, Art. 3, No. 1, Official Gazette, 15.01.2024).
* Not be disqualified from holding public office or functions, nor convicted of a crime carrying a penalty of felony or misdemeanor. Notwithstanding the foregoing, for access to auxiliary or administrative positions, conviction for an offense carrying a misdemeanor penalty shall not constitute an impediment to entry, provided such offense is not among those listed in Title V, Book II, of the Penal Code. (Law 20702, Art. 1, Official Gazette, 15.10.2013).
*Specific Requirements*
* Technical Degree in Early Childhood Education, awarded by a state educational institution or officially recognized.
* An individual performance evaluation equal to or higher than 60 points in the immediately preceding period, i.e., placement in Distinction List 1.
* No demerit records or sanctions resulting from summary proceedings or preliminary investigations within the last year.

**VII.\- Evaluation and Selection**
*Contractual Ranking System*
Applicants will be evaluated and entered into the Contractual Ranking System according to the following criteria and weightings:
* Competencies: 50%
* Experience: 35%
* Performance: 15%
Review of these criteria will be conducted internally, except for “Competencies,” which will be assessed via an online test battery assigned SOLELY to applicants not yet included in the ranking system for this position; otherwise, their previous evaluation remains valid until renewal of this instrument.
Applicants without a performance rating may continue in the process.
The score obtained in the Contractual Ranking System accounts for 70% of the final score.
*Selection Committee Interview*
A selection committee interview will be conducted with top-ranking candidates from the Contractual Ranking System in this process; this result accounts for 30% of the final score.

**IX.\- Additional Considerations**
The selected applicant will assume the grade published in this job posting.
