Identify cost-saving opportunities and continuous improvement Procurement Engineer / Technical Buyer Puerto Montt At AKVA Group Land Based, a leading company in RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture Systems) solutions, we are looking for a Procurement Engineer or Technical Buyer with experience in comprehensive Supply Chain process management and quantity surveying in construction projects. Job Objective: Execute and efficiently manage procurement processes, ensuring optimal quality, price, and delivery time through appropriate supplier negotiations and rigorous tracking of the entire procurement cycle. Main Responsibilities Request and evaluate quotations and commercial terms. Negotiate commercial terms (price, delivery time, quality, warranties, etc.). Issue purchase orders and track them until conforming receipt. Analyze supply processes and cost structures. Manage supplier relationships, evaluating their performance and compliance. Identify cost-saving opportunities and continuous improvement in procurement processes. Job Requirements Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Logistics, or Purchasing, preferably in Technical Offices or projects. Experience in procurement of materials for construction and industrial projects, such as: Pipes (carbon steel, stainless steel, HDPE or other materials), Piping and fittings (elbows, tees, valves, fittings, flanges, supports, etc.). Basic knowledge of reading piping drawings and technical specifications (desirable). Experience in quantity surveying and technical-commercial analysis of piping network items.
