The position combines crew support tasks, meal preparation, maintaining vessel cleanliness and hygiene, and assisting with various deck operational tasks—contributing to the smooth functioning of operations and the well-being of the onboard crew. We seek responsible, proactive individuals willing to collaborate across diverse functions and capable of adapting to a dynamic, team-oriented environment. **Key Responsibilities:** ================================== * Prepare and serve meals to the crew promptly during operations. * Maintain the galley, mess room, and common areas in optimal cleanliness and hygiene conditions. * Monitor and organize food, provisions, and supplies storage. * Verify adequate supply of products required for operations. * Comply with onboard hygiene, food handling, and safety regulations. * Assist with general cleaning and organization of the vessel. * Support basic maintenance of vessel facilities and equipment. * Assist with loading, unloading, and transport of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies. * Participate in basic deck maneuvers—including departure, docking, anchoring, and other operational tasks—as permitted by experience and authorization. * Properly use personal protective equipment throughout the work shift. * Actively collaborate with the crew to maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient environment. * Follow operational procedures and maritime safety regulations. **Requirements** **Education:** * Completed Secondary Education. * Valid **General Deckhand** license issued by the Maritime Authority. * Food Handling Course desirable. **Experience** * Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles. * Experience as a General Deckhand on small vessels. * Experience in maritime service companies or the aquaculture industry is desirable. * Experience supporting onboard operations is desirable. **Additional qualifications valued:** * Basic meal preparation for crew. * Organization and storage of provisions and supplies. * Cleaning and sanitization of common areas. * Food hygiene and safety standards. * Basic maritime safety regulations. * Basic deck maneuvers. * Loading and unloading of materials. * Use of personal protective equipment. * Onboard work experience. * Support in navigation operations. ### **Job Requirements** Required documentation: Valid General Deckhand license (or higher).
