Control costs and performance indicators In a service company supporting the salmon industry, we are looking for a **Logistics Operations Deputy Manager**, who will play a key role in the comprehensive management of maritime and land-based operations, ensuring operational continuity, efficiency, safety, and adherence to service-level agreements. We seek a candidate with experience leading operations or logistics functions, ideally at the deputy management level; however, we will also consider **established department heads with over five years of experience and strong motivation to take the next step in their professional development**. **What will be your main challenges?** * **Comprehensively lead maritime and land-based operations**, ensuring continuous supply, distribution, and uninterrupted service delivery in high-demand areas. * **Plan and coordinate resources, routes, frequencies, and fleet utilization**, anticipating contingencies and optimizing operational efficiency. * **Supervise branches, inventories, and operational sites**, ensuring product availability, orderliness, and compliance with service-level agreements. * **Manage multidisciplinary operational teams**, including branch supervisors, logistics coordinators, and field personnel. * **Ensure operational safety and compliance with procedures**, managing incidents and mitigation actions as required. * **Manage operational assets and facilities**, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance with technical departments. * **Control costs and performance indicators**, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, resource utilization, and service quality. * **Coordinate with Commercial, Procurement, and Technical departments**, aligning operational planning and execution with business needs. **What do we expect from you?** * Degree in **Industrial Civil Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field**. * Minimum **five years of experience leading planning, control, operations, or logistics departments**, preferably in industrial or highly complex logistics environments. * Experience leading **multidisciplinary operational teams** and operations with significant field presence. * Knowledge of **operations management, supply chain, land and maritime logistics, operational costs, and industrial safety**. * Proficiency in **Excel and management control tools**. * Willingness to work based in **Puerto Montt**, with substantial field presence and frequent travel across southern Chile. ***Thank you for your interest—we wish you great success!***
