Puerto Montt Technical Office At Ingeniería DSYD, we continue to grow and are looking to add a Technical Office Manager with a passion for engineering, planning, and technical excellence to our team. We are seeking a methodical, analytical, and problem-solving individual capable of transforming drawings and material takeoffs into precise information for the execution of our electrical projects. Here, your expertise directly impacts the quality, efficiency, and success of every project. Your mission To provide technical and strategic support in managing electrical projects, ensuring that planning, material takeoffs, and document control comply with DSYD's established standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will be a key liaison between engineering, site operations, quality, and administration, ensuring that technical information flows accurately and promptly. ️ Your day-to-day responsibilities Review and update electrical drawings (single-line, installation, conduit, and panel diagrams). Perform material and resource quantification, create lists, and monitor consumption. Support technical planning and scheduling using MS Project. Manage RFIs, change orders, and technical data sheets in coordination with site administration. Prepare technical reports, progress controls, and plan vs. actual reports. Maintain up-to-date technical archives and project documentation (as-built, dossier, TE1\). Coordinate with quality, safety, and procurement teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and technical requirements. Support the preparation of technical closeouts and final client deliveries. REQUIREMENTS What you need to apply Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Electrical Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in technical office or technical support roles in electrical construction projects. Intermediate to advanced AutoCAD proficiency (reading and editing drawings). Intermediate MS Project skills for planning and tracking. Advanced Excel skills and document control experience. Knowledge of SEC regulations, TE1 / TE2 standards, and electrical procedures. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Availability for field work and coordination with projects in southern regions.
