At Aguasin, part of Veralto’s Water Quality segment, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to strengthen our finance team and ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This is a replacement position, and you will join a collaborative, analytical, and results-driven team. **About the Role** As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for critical accounting, reporting, audit, and compliance processes under both local standards and US GAAP. The role requires a high level of technical expertise, autonomy, precision, and the ability to coordinate multiple monthly deliverables. **Main Responsibilities** Preparation and analysis of the Rolling Trial Balance (RTB) and monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reports. Review, execution, and approval of monthly reconciliations in Blackline. Preparation of balance sheet forecasts aligned with cash flow forecasts. Preparation of local and corporate financial statements. Analysis and reconciliation from Statutory to GAAP, ensuring policy compliance. Support during internal, external, tax, and statutory audits. Accurate recording and review of ERP modules against the general ledger. Leadership in communication with auditors and coordination of requirements. Review and approval of manual journal entries and generation of supporting documentation. Management of the monthly closing checklist and participation in improvement initiatives. Annual fixed asset verification and support during inventories. Compliance with Chilean and U.S. accounting regulations, identifying risks and proposing actions. Annual corporate reporting (locations, insurance, RiskConnect, etc.). Management of monthly and annual tax obligations, including VAT, sworn statements, and income tax. Assessment of tax impacts and communication with external experts. Coordination of current and deferred tax calculations (Tax Corp). Administration of leases in Lucernex and compliance with ASC 842 standard.
