





### **Telecommunications Engineer – Electrical Substations** Are you motivated to work with critical systems that ensure the operational continuity of the power grid? We are seeking a Telecommunications Engineer for an electric sector company, responsible for ensuring the correct design, operation, and maintenance of communication systems in substations. Your role will be key in guaranteeing the quality and reliability of transmission links and associated technological platforms. ### **About the Challenge** You will be responsible for planning and implementing telecommunications systems that support electrical operations. You will lead diagnostic processes, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced technologies such as microwave (MMOO), multiplexers (MUX), fiber optics (OPGW/ADSS), power line carrier (OPLAT), redundant networks, and IP telephony. You must coordinate actions with internal teams and suppliers, document technical procedures, train personnel, and ensure operational availability of systems. ### **What We’d Love to See from You?** * University degree in Civil or Executive Engineering in Telecommunications, Civil or Executive Electrical Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or related field. * At least **5 years of experience** in telecommunications systems applied to electrical substations. * Experience in configuration, operation, and maintenance of MMOO, MUX, fiber optics (OPGW/ADSS), OPLAT, and redundant networks. * Ability to technically diagnose faults and use preventive monitoring tools. * Valid Class B driver's license. * Availability to travel and participate in on-call shifts during emergencies. ### **What We Offer** * Direct contract with the company. * Based in Santiago. * Professional development opportunities within a leading electrical infrastructure company. * Collaborative work with specialized technical teams. * Offer under the framework of **Law 21\.015**, promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities.
