An important mining industry company is looking for a **Welder** residing in **Calama** to join our team for a period of **2 months**. **Job Mission** Perform welding work on metal structures, equipment, and components used in mining operations, ensuring the quality of joints, compliance with safety regulations, and adherence to the company's technical standards. Contribute to the efficient development of projects, guaranteeing operational continuity and safety in all assigned tasks. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform structural and maintenance welding (SMAW, MIG, TIG, oxy-cutting, etc.) on equipment and structures. * Carry out assembly, adjustments, and mechanical repairs on metallic components (frames, hoppers, ducts, supports, etc.). * Read and interpret mechanical and welding blueprints. * Inspect, measure, and assess damage on parts or structures, proposing technical solutions. * Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment (vehicles, machinery, metal structures). * Safely use manual tools, electric tools, and welding equipment. * Complete work reports and technical reports after each intervention. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area (workshop or field). **Requirements** * Intermediate or higher technical degree in Industrial Mechanics, Welding, Industrial Maintenance, or related field * Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles. * Current certification in welding processes (SMAW, MIG/MAG, TIG). **Work Schedule and Shifts** * 10x10 shifts (10 days of work followed by 10 days off). * Availability for field and workshop work as scheduled by the department.
