Job Description Summary You will be responsible for providing technical advisory support to resolve issues that operations personnel may encounter during maintenance, component replacements, scheduled or unscheduled repairs, and implementing improvements in product quality within the operational process. Work directly with the engineering department to improve key indicators representing workshop and field maintenance and repair processes. Establish both external and internal communication channels to identify, acquire, locate, and document feasible solutions to technical problems/failures. Main responsibilities of the role are: Safety: Know and apply safety and environmental policies according to your function. Technical Processes: Receive and analyze factory technical information. Distribute information according to responsibilities. Review Service Letter implementation across the fleet. Analyze technical feasibility of executing Service Letters. Record in the historical database (failures with solutions). Receive and manage technical assistance requests or technical requirements from contract and external departments. Receive technical information from support departments. Analyze and recommend technical priorities based on operational issues (Top Ten). Participate in and provide technical input for the preparation of bi-weekly and weekly Backlog plans. Generate and enter backlogs into the system via Service Letters. Determine pending scheduled backlogs based on technical criticality. Develop action plans and deliver them to engineering for scheduling. Availability for 7x7 shift (day\-night) Required Qualifications: Mechanical Execution Engineer or Senior Technical Technician. 5 years of experience in Caterpillar equipment maintenance, major component disassembly, and diagnostics. Factory certification in Caterpillar equipment and/or diesel engines is desirable. Intermediate level spoken and written technical English. Proficiency in computer tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Cat Inspect, and SIS. Knowledge of the maintenance and repair model (condition monitoring processes, failure and reliability analysis, continuous improvement, technical communication, backlog management).
