It is recognized as the global benchmark for quality and integrity, with more than 95,000 employees and a network of over 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** **GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES** Ensure the proper execution of tests within their area of responsibility in a timely manner, safeguarding result quality, personnel competence, equipment used, environmental conditions, and personnel safety. **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES** * Manage the implementation of equipment verification, calibration, and maintenance programs. * Maintain and manage personnel records, ensuring information is available and up to date for accreditation purposes. * Generate quality management system documents for their work area. * Implement corrective action programs applicable to their area of responsibility. * Participate in management reviews of the quality management system. * Request necessary resources for implementing new methods and equipment according to laboratory management guidelines. * Lead the team's training program. * Ensure accurate and timely delivery of analysis results. * Ensure proper use of laboratory materials and equipment. * Define analysis priorities and workload distribution. * Keep official technical standards accessible to staff and ensure their correct application. * Manage the implementation of equipment verification, calibration, and maintenance programs. * Prepare monthly productivity reports. Supervise the proper use of PPE and work clothing for their team and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety measures. Regularly conduct on-site supervision of analyses performed by their team. * Promote and ensure proper use of PPE, order, hygiene, safety, and environmental care among staff during laboratory work. * Ensure and facilitate compliance with internal or external training programs whenever technical deficiencies are identified. * Participate in selecting personnel for various positions within their area, conducting evaluations and managing performance gaps identified during performance reviews. * Safeguard the independence and impartiality of test results, avoiding any undue pressure or influence. * Perform work honestly and transparently as stipulated in our code of integrity. * Ensure personnel competence and training through inspections, task observations, blind samples, or other control tools integrated into training procedures. * Strictly comply with established laboratory safety regulations, emphasizing proper handling of glassware, hazardous substances, and correct storage and disposal of RILES and RISES. **Requirements** **PROFILE** **Formal Qualifications:** Chemistry, Sciences, or related field relevant to the job area. Education level: Completed university degree or higher-level technical qualification with 5 years of experience. **General Experience:** * Work experience: 3 to 5 years desirable. * Experience in position/area: 2 years desirable. * Required skills: * Intermediate-level Office software skills. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Knowledge of quality systems (ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ISO 9001:2015). **Additional Information** Health compatibility with operational risk: Exposure to particulate material and mineral samples.
