Job Summary: We are seeking an HVAC Technician to implement and execute the Master Climate Plan at an underground mining site, ensuring the operational continuity of HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for maintaining the operational continuity of air conditioning systems. 2. Providing technical solutions and ensuring compliance with regulations. 3. Implementation of activities outlined in the Master Climate Plan in mining. **Job Description:** A professional is required to implement and execute activities related to the **Master Climate Plan**, ensuring they are carried out according to the quality and safety standards defined in the HVAC maintenance contract for underground mining operations. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for maintaining the operational continuity of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, providing technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems. * Implement activities of the Master Climate Plan at mining sites. * Diagnose faults and propose technical solutions for air conditioning systems. * Carry out assembly, configuration, and programming tasks for Siemens control systems. * Prepare technical reports and thermal calculations for HVAC equipment. * Comply with safety and quality protocols at underground mining sites. **Academic Requirements:** * Bachelor's Degree or Higher Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. **Technical Knowledge:** * Experience in HVAC, pressurization systems, ventilation, and water-cooling systems. * Experience in installation of air conditioning systems. * Knowledge of brazing welding applied to precision air conditioning. **Minimum Required Experience:** * Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. * Experience with water-cooling systems. * Experience in configuration and programming of Siemens control systems. * Experience at underground mining sites. **Work Location:** Mining sites, Antofagasta Region. **Contract Type:** Fixed-term contract with potential conversion to indefinite-term based on performance. **Availability:** Full-time, shift system at mining site.
