Job Summary: Finning is seeking a Storekeeper to manage spare parts and tool inventory, as well as supervise their delivery and administration under the Chuquicamata Underground mining contract. Finning, CATERPILLAR’s strategic partner and leader in equipment and service distribution, is seeking top talent to fulfill the role of **Storekeepers** for the **Chuquicamata Underground** contract under a 7x7 shift system. The Storekeeper must perform warehouse or storehouse activities related to spare parts, goods receipt, preparation, and dispatch to customers, warehouse administration, and safety within the mining contract. As the primary responsibility, the Storekeeper must administer, safeguard, and maintain mechanical tools used by the mechanical and electrical workshops on site; maintain inventory records of tools issued to each field and workshop mechanic and electrician; and administer, safeguard, and procure minor consumables for rebar work and mechanical repairs. **Job Responsibilities:** * Participate in tool, instrument, and spare parts inventory counts and audits. * Operate a forklift. * Supervise, deliver, and administer tools and instruments. * Supervise, deliver, and administer PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). * Conduct inventories of tools, instruments, and PPE. * Collect domestic waste. * Handle APD sample shipments. * Clean spare parts shelving. * Conduct inventories of mechanics’ toolboxes. **Requirements:** * Secondary education in fields related to the position. * Knowledge of basic mechanics (familiarity with all types of machinery and tools). Computer literacy at user level. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * SAP system proficiency. * Preferably residing in Calama or the II Region.
