Job Summary: Contract Supervisor for Chuquicamata Underground (UG), responsible for supervising the execution of equipment maintenance programs and ensuring compliance with maintenance and repair actions. Finning, Caterpillar’s strategic partner and leader in equipment and service distribution, is seeking top talent to fill the role of Contract Supervisor for Chuquicamata Underground (UG). You will be responsible for supervising the execution of equipment maintenance programs and plans, as well as unplanned work arising from incidents, conducted at the site workshop, to ensure compliance with maintenance and repair actions for contract equipment; identifying requirements for human and material resources; implementing actions responsive to operational variability; adhering to company standards; ensuring compliance with technical and administrative procedures; contributing to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) achievement; and optimizing utilization of assigned resources. **Primary responsibilities of the role include:** Scheduling, assigning, and supervising technical service work for the Division (Workshop and field) Providing estimated job completion times and reviewing spare parts lists for quotation preparation Meeting service KPIs Complying with and supervising safety standards in accordance with corporate policies and procedures Operating systems supporting area management control (SIS, Vision Link, SAP BI, etc.) Requesting and receiving third-party work, managing tools and consumables for the workshop Evaluating inefficiencies or rework in the workshop and developing action plans **Required Qualifications:** **Minimum Formal Education:** Technical degree (post-secondary level) 3 years of experience in similar positions SAP knowledge is desirable Availability to work a 7x7 day/night shift schedule at Chuquicamata Underground If you are currently employed by the company, please also note the internal application requirements for this role: At least 1 year of tenure in your current position A performance evaluation rating of “Meets Expectations” or higher **Minimum Level for Application:** 3A / T2 Meeting the stated education and experience requirements Completing the application questionnaire and attaching an updated CV If you meet these requirements, we encourage you to put your talent into action and apply with us!
