**Grafton Latam** is looking for a **Journalist** to initially work on a replacement basis at a construction sector company located in **Calama**. We are seeking a collaborative, innovative, and adaptable individual with a focus on continuous learning, autonomy, commitment, and analytical skills. **Job Objective:** Increase local industry influence through the planning and coordination of communication initiatives and events that strengthen positioning and awareness among members and target audiences, supporting the fulfillment of the institutional work plan. **Main Responsibilities:** * Propose and manage communication initiatives to enhance industry reputation. * Advise regional bodies on communication strategies and align them with institutional strategic planning. * Implement national communication strategies with local adaptation and respond to requests from the Communications Management team. * Support the preparation of institutional magazines and speeches for the local president. * Coordinate interviews, meetings, events, seminars, and industry activities with media, committees, and representatives. * Collect and send relevant construction sector information to headquarters. * Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage logistics, budgeting, and event confirmations. * Update databases, activity calendars, and conduct satisfaction surveys with periodic reports. * Actively participate in events and take photographic records. * Support the implementation of the Crime Prevention Model together with senior management. **Requirements:** * Professional degree in Journalism or related field. * Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience. * Intermediate/advanced level in Excel. **Conditions:** * Salary: $1,500,000 net monthly (pro-rated to effectively worked days). * Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 18:30 and Friday from 08:30 to 15:30 hrs. * Replacement contract initially, through temporary services. **Apply now and join our team in Calama!**
