We are currently seeking an Expert in Risk Prevention, Sernageomin B, to work at a mining site located in Calama on a 7x7 shift. The main objective of this role is to advise operations on safety and occupational health matters to effectively manage personnel from subcontracted companies (EECC), implementing preventive tools and models that prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases. Main responsibilities: * Ensure proper identification and control of hazards, implementation of systems or standards defined by the organization, along with their monitoring and control, through an efficient and dedicated model that enables the organization to oversee compliance with EHS activities and applicable legal requirements for contractor companies, centralize reports, and manage them cross-functionally. * Apply appropriate controls, monitor, and ensure their correct implementation within assigned subcontracted companies (EECC). * Promote leadership and a safety culture among all workers in accordance with internal guidelines and client requirements. * Advise the contract manager in the investigation of incidents and high-potential incidents. * Respond promptly and appropriately to various Safety, Occupational Health, and Hygiene requirements from the client at the facility. * Handle confidential information regarding injured employees. Requirements for the ideal candidate: Education: University degree in Risk Prevention Engineering. Sernageomin Category B (mandatory). Knowledge: Advanced level in Microsoft Office. Law 16.744, ISO standards, OHSAS, MINSAL and MINTRAB protocols, decrees; knowledge of mining standards.
