Programming and Control Engineer (Industrial / Mining Site) Job Description We seek a highly qualified Programming and Control Engineer to join our Technical Office. The fundamental objective of this tactical role is to design, organize, supervise, and refine the contract's comprehensive work plan, maintaining absolute control over project execution timelines. The professional will be directly responsible for the technical and strategic monitoring of site tasks, efficiently managing human, technical, and material resources, with the mission to promptly mitigate any deviations from the original plan and ensure operational continuity. This position reports directly to the Head of the Technical Office or Contract Administrator. Main Functions and Responsibilities Timeline and Schedule Control: Continuously monitor project execution timelines, ensuring compliance with established schedules and milestones. Expert Software Management: Design, structure, and maintain an updated master Gantt chart using advanced planning tools. Operations and Maintenance Planning: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly work plans and programs for operational areas, including preventive maintenance programs, work orders (WO), and emergency response plans. Reporting and Progress Tracking: Collect field data and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project progress and resource performance analysis. Deviation Management: Immediately inform technical management of any deviation from the work plan, designing and implementing Action Plans or Recovery Plans aimed at mitigating identified delays. Resource Administration: Manage and ensure timely availability of materials, tools, equipment, and personnel required for daily tasks, while also maintaining vehicle and machinery control logs. Integrated Safety Culture (HSE): Ensure proper implementation of risk prevention and environmental protection plans in accordance with the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Profile Requirements Education: University graduate in Civil Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Maintenance) or related technical/engineering discipline. Specific Experience: Minimum 10 years of verifiable experience in the role of Programming and Control Engineer (Project Control). Industry Experience: Solid experience in miscellaneous construction, maintenance, and installation projects at mining sites or industrial plants. Planning Tools (Mandatory): Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project planning software, plus advanced Excel spreadsheet skills. Required Knowledge: Strong knowledge of preventive/corrective maintenance planning, S-curve progress control, labor/equipment performance analysis, and industrial safety regulations.
