We encourage you to take the time to explore the opportunity of building a career with Freeport\-McMoRan. **Description** --------------- **Process Operations Technician** The primary function is to operate the EW plant, performing inspection and evaluation of equipment located in the EW building and cathode yard, executing these duties efficiently, safely, and with quality, focused on safe production and thereby ensuring operational continuity of the area. **Essential Functions** * Perform washing and chiseling of copper bundles, supporting lifting-cutting operations. Manually reassemble copper bundles. * Provide support in STM4\ operation. Support in the operation of the bundle turner. Support bundling, production input, and support activities in cell banks and overhead crane operation within the EW building. * Operate mining equipment for which authorization has been granted. * Carry out activities that promote and impact safety, environmental protection, energy efficiency, gender equality, and operational excellence. Perform any task assigned within your work area. * **Qualifications** ------------------ **Minimum Requirements** * Completed secondary education. * Class B driver’s license with at least two years of validity.
