We encourage you to take the time to explore the opportunity for a career at Freeport\-McMoRan. **Description** --------------- **Project Surveyor** The primary responsibility is to perform various tasks related to surveys, layout, drawings, projects, and volume calculations both in the Plant, Mine, Ascotán, and other areas of the company. Additionally, the individual must possess or acquire the necessary knowledge for using available surveying instruments. **Essential Functions** * Conduct surveys and progress controls for waste dumps. * Perform surveys and advance controls for shovels in the Mine area. * Carry out surveys and progress controls for the Sulfolix permanent leach pad and plant stockpile. * Develop layout works requested by different management teams, which may include mechanical or industrial installations, road projects, or improvements to existing infrastructure. * Perform weekly, monthly, or daily volume calculations as required. * Stake out blast holes. * Conduct flights with photogrammetric, multispectral drones, and inspections inside and outside the operation. * Carry out activities that promote and impact safety, environmental protection, energy efficiency, gender equality, and operational excellence. * Execute any other task assigned within their work area. **Qualifications** ------------------ **Minimum Requirements** * Graduate professional in Surveying or Geomatics Engineering. * Minimum of 3 years of experience working in open-pit mining.
