**Job Description Summary:**
Responsible for diagnosing major components and systems, performing large-scale repairs, and coordinating work execution. Works in a workshop or in the field as required. Assists the supervisor and may make decisions of moderate responsibility. May supervise component installation and removal.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Place spare parts orders.
* Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts manuals, and mechanical and maintenance forms.
* Test and diagnose machine problems.
* Prepare Service Reports.
* Operate and inspect machines after repair.
* Demonstrate proficiency in fault analysis.
**Requirements:*** Graduate technician from an Institute or University, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance of mining industry equipment.
* Willingness to work on a rotating 7x7 shift schedule (day and night).
* Medical fitness compatible with performance at high geographic altitude.

* Minimum 1 year of tenure in current role.
* Performance evaluation rating of “Meets Expectations” or higher (minimum score of 3).
* Minimum eligibility level: M3 or 2A.
* Must meet the aforementioned education and experience requirements.
