Position Summary: R&Q Engineering is seeking a Programming and Control Engineer to participate in mining projects, auditing and controlling compliance with the overall service program and identifying risks. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in the comprehensive management of large mining projects. 2. Responsible for auditing and controlling compliance with the service program. 3. Identification and alerting of delays and risks in the project master schedule. **R\&Q Engineering**, a consulting firm specialized in the comprehensive management of large projects with 48 years of experience, is seeking **COD 6890\-06** Programming and Control Engineer for participation in the tender process for the **Mining** area in **Calama**, **Antofagasta Region**! Estimated duration of the tendered contract: **10** months. **What are we looking for?** **Mandatory Requirements:** * Degree-holding professional: Civil Engineer / Construction Engineer / Civil Constructor / Executive Engineer. * Minimum 10 years of general experience and minimum 8 years of specific experience in this service. * Proficient user-level knowledge of scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera). * Familiarity with the company’s cost control system. **Main Functions and Responsibilities:** * Demonstrable experience as a Programming and Control Engineer on industrial mining projects, preferably in engineering development. * Prior experience in Programming and Control roles for civil works, hydraulic, and geotechnical projects, and at least five (5\) years in contracts related to engineering development. * Responsible for auditing and controlling compliance with the Service General Program approved by the Division, identifying and alerting delays and risks to the project master schedule, progress, milestones, objectives, and control indicators specific to the services under the assigned Contract; incorporating and applying all scheduling variables recommended by industry best practices. * Must have training in Primavera P6\. **Desired Profile** ------------------ * Degree-holding professional: Civil Engineer / Construction Engineer / Civil Constructor / Executive Engineer. * Minimum 10 years of general experience and minimum 8 years of specific experience in this service. * Proficient user-level knowledge of scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera). * Familiarity with the company’s cost control system. * Must have training in Primavera P6\.
