Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and the leader in equipment and service distribution, is seeking top talent with experience in maintenance of CAT Electric Shovels \- PH to fill the **C Technician** role at mine sites located in Calama. **Job Description Summary:** You will be responsible for diagnosing major components and systems, performing large-scale repairs, and coordinating work execution. You will support the supervisor and may make medium-responsibility decisions. **Key Responsibilities:** * Order spare parts and identify key components of shovels and drills. * Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts manuals, and mechanical and maintenance forms. * Test and diagnose machine problems. * Prepare Service Reports. * Operate and inspect machines after repair. * Demonstrate proficiency in failure analysis. **Requirements:*** Graduated technician or professional from an institute or university, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity. * Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance of mining industry equipment. * Work on a rotating 7x7 shift schedule (day and night). * Possess health compatible with performance at high geographical altitude. * Hold SEC certification. * Ideally reside in Calama.
