Generate progress and anomaly reports **Job Description** ---------------------- Responsible for providing operational technical support for the DT electronic initiation system to ensure a successful blasting process at the mine. At Enaex, a multinational mining supplier and market leader in explosives and ammonium nitrate manufacturing, we are seeking Blasting Engineers for Calama. We would like you to: Supervise and execute the electronic initiation process of blasting to ensure proper detonation according to client requirements. Main daily responsibilities: * Plan and coordinate blasting-related tasks with involved personnel. * Perform blasting design, programming, connection, verification, charging, and detonation. * Verify availability of resources for operations or request them timely. * Ensure adequate stock levels of products at the site. * Deliver Davey Bickford support; introduce and apply company products. * Ensure successful implementation of the electronic blasting initiation process, while ensuring customer satisfaction. * Monitor compliance with site KPIs related to BU, TQ, quality, supply, and other metrics, maintaining effective operational control based on best practices, procedures, and critical stock management. * Represent direct management before the client when required. * Provide technical responses satisfying the client, including measures that could jeopardize business continuity. * Coordinate and deliver technical training sessions for users. * Generate continuous reports on all field task progress and anomalies. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Must reside in Calama * Residency in Calama is ideal * Minimum 1 year of experience in Drilling and Blasting processes This position is open to candidates with disabilities. **Selection Process** ------------------------ The selection process is conducted via Aira — a recruitment platform designed to enhance your application experience.
