The role aims to provide technical field support for the geotechnical core logging process, assisting the geologist in measuring, testing, and recording structural parameters, as well as in data digitalization, ensuring the quality, traceability, and reliability of collected geotechnical information. Responsibilities Provide direct support to the geologist in charge of core logging, assisting in sample preparation and collection of geotechnical data. Perform measurements of geotechnical parameters such as RQD (Rock Quality Designation) and FF (Fracture Frequency), ensuring accuracy and consistency in records. Carry out field geotechnical tests, including needle penetrometer tests, PLT (Point Load Test), and Schmidt hammer tests, according to established technical procedures. Digitize and upload shift-by-shift geotechnical mapping data using tools such as Xilab, ensuring data integrity and availability. Review and verify core recovery and borehole regularization, contributing to drilling process quality. Support the development, implementation, and improvement of operational technical procedures to optimize the efficiency and reliability of the mapping process.
