The position aims to provide field technical support in the geotechnical mapping process of boreholes, assisting the geologist in measuring, testing, and recording structural parameters, as well as in data digitization, ensuring the quality, traceability, and reliability of collected geotechnical information. Functions Provide direct support to the geologist in charge of borehole mapping, assisting in core sample preparation and collection of geotechnical data. Perform measurements of geotechnical parameters such as RQD (Rock Quality Designation) and FF (Fracture Frequency), ensuring accuracy and consistency in records. Conduct geotechnical field tests, including needle penetrometer tests, PLT (Point Load Test), and Schmidt hammer tests, according to established technical procedures. Digitize and upload geotechnical mapping information shift by shift using tools such as Xilab, ensuring data integrity and availability. Review and verify core recovery and borehole regularization, contributing to drilling process quality. Support the development, implementation, and improvement of operational technical procedures to optimize the efficiency and reliability of the mapping process. Requirements Technical degree in Geology or related technical field At least 3 years of experience as a geotechnical assistant in boreholes Experience in identifying geotechnical parameters in boreholes Proficiency in Xilab and technical data digitization Benefits **Contract:** Fixed-term for 2 months, renewable for an additional 2 months, with possibility of extension to indefinite.
