HSEQ Risk Prevention Advisor **Offer ID:** 79868 **Job:** Technicians / Other **Contract type:** Temporary **Country:** Chile **EQUANS Chile (EQCL)** is seeking an **HSEQ Risk Prevention Advisor**, responsible for controlling activities related to Safety, Occupational Health, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) operations, ensuring such activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant policies and procedures. **We invite all qualified candidates meeting the following requirements to apply for this position:** **Professional Qualification / Education:** * **Higher Technical Degree** in Risk Prevention **Knowledge:** * Proficiency in **Codelco’s Integrated Management System**. * Advanced knowledge of **Codelco’s Special Regulation on Occupational Safety and Health**. * Application and auditing of **Fatality Control Standards (FCS)**, including management of **Critical Risks** and their associated controls. * Up-to-date knowledge of Ministry of Health (MINSAL) surveillance protocols applicable to mining (e.g., Silica, Prexor, TMERT, etc.). **Experience:** * **3–5 years’ experience** performing risk prevention duties in mining operations. * **Proven experience** in Codelco operations (e.g., Chuquicamata Division, Radomiro Tomic Division, etc.). **Requirements:** * Availability for a 4×3 shift schedule. * **Valid Class B Driver’s License**. * **Residence:** Must reside in Calama. * **Preventive Leadership:** Ability to advise and **lead frontline supervision teams** and Joint Committees, fostering a culture of **visible and proactive leadership** in safety. * Soft Skills: **Active listening**, **empathy**, **negotiation**, and **conflict management** capabilities.
