This is your opportunity to promote a safety culture at our Calama branch! ✨ Location: Calama Schedule: 5x2, Monday to Friday What do you need to apply? ✅ Residence in Calama (Mandatory) ✅ Experience in Mining Operations (Mandatory) ✅ Academic background as a Risk Prevention Engineer, Risk Prevention Technician, or related field. ✅ Valid SNS (Servicio Nacional de Salud) registration. ✅ Proven experience in occupational risk prevention, ideally in the industrial or automotive sector. ✅ Knowledge of current legal regulations regarding Safety, Health at Work, and Environment in Chile. ✅ Desirable proficiency in risk management tools and report writing. ✅ Class B driver's license (desirable). * ️ What will be your responsibilities? Design and deliver training on specific risks associated with each job position, both in administrative and operational areas. Inform and train workers on emergency procedures applicable to each work context. Ensure compliance with current legal frameworks regarding Safety, Health at Work, and Environment. Keep health and safety protocols established by the Ministry of Health (MINSAL) up to date. Investigate accidents, incidents, and occupational diseases, identifying causes and proposing preventive measures. Record and analyze accident and incident statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Conduct regular inspections at branches and workshops to identify substandard conditions and unsafe actions. Supervise the implementation of corrective and improvement measures in workplaces. Advise supervisors and administrative staff on safe practices and preventive measures. Inform workers about work-related accident insurance, commuting accidents, and occupational diseases, providing guidance on claim procedures and benefits. Evaluate, investigate, and control workplace accident rates, establishing strategies to reduce them. Promote awareness of the importance of safety and health at work through campaigns and promotional activities. Participate in the planning of annual departmental activities, maintaining the corresponding records. Generate reports for both internal and external clients related to your department and assigned sites.
