SIGMA S.A. is seeking a Contract Engineer to control and monitor costs for mining and industrial projects, ensuring budget compliance and optimizing management.

At **SIGMA S.A.**, a leading provider of integrated services for mining and engineering, we deliver solutions across construction, commissioning, and maintenance of high-impact projects. We are currently seeking a **Contract Engineer**, responsible for controlling and monitoring project costs to ensure adherence to the allocated budget.
### **Main Responsibilities:**
* Generate project cost reports for the project administrator and management.
* Identify alternatives to improve cost reporting management.
* Develop and produce reports supporting maintenance management needs (contracts, purchase orders, assets, etc.).
* Request procurement activities with corresponding authorization.
* Manage payments for contracts validated by the respective administrator.
* Handle Capex requests.
* Prepare the Annual Budget, Forecast, and Baseline Case according to the project plan.
* Monitor the monthly budget through cost reporting.
* Keep the supervisor informed regarding availability of PPE, supplies, and materials.
* Support strategic decision-making by providing information on associated project cost performance.
### **✅ Requirements:**
* Industrial Engineer, Management Control Engineer, Finance Engineer, or equivalent; Technical or Higher Education degree. Prior experience in similar roles is preferred.
* \+3 years of experience in contract administration for industrial infrastructure or mining projects.
* Experience resolving disputes with contractors.
* Knowledge of technical areas related to industrial construction and mining installations.
* Basic understanding of legal matters pertaining to contract administration.
* Thorough knowledge of contract processes.
* Knowledge of scheduling and costing (processes, performance measurement indices, scheduling, etc.).
* Knowledge of quality assurance and control.
* Motivation and flexibility to adopt company procedures, instructions, and regulations.
* Proficient user-level skills with Microsoft Office tools.
