Job Summary: We are seeking a Boring Machine Operator to perform machining and restoration of industrial components, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure part quality. Key Highlights: 1. Perform quality verification and ensure compliance with standards We are currently looking for a Boring Machine Operator to join a prominent company in the industrial and machining sector. Work Location: Calama Net Salary: $1\.500\.000 to $1\.600\.000 Working Hours * ️ Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 17:30 hrs. * ️ Friday: 07:30 to 14:00 hrs. Key Responsibilities * ️ Operate boring machines for machining and restoration of industrial components and parts. * ️ Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing tolerances. * ️ Carry out drilling, boring, facing, and precision machining processes. * ️ Perform dimensional measurements using inspection and metrology instruments. * ️ Verify the quality of machined parts, ensuring compliance with established standards. * ️ Maintain workplace order, cleanliness, and proper use of tools and equipment. * ️ Strictly adhere to safety, quality, and environmental procedures. ✅ Requirements * ️ Technical diploma at secondary or higher level in Machine Tools (Desirable). * ️ Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Lathe and Milling Machine Operator or Boring Machine Operator. * ️ Knowledge of reading and interpreting mechanical drawings. * ️ Proficiency in using dimensional measurement and inspection instruments. * ️ Residence in Calama or willingness to relocate to the area.
