The primary objective of the position is to carry out various laboratory analysis services related to the composition, properties, and reactions of the chemical and physical elements forming the samples. It involves performing methodologies at all levels of complexity and being responsible for compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies and standards. The main responsibilities will be: The primary function is sample preparation (digestions, leachings, others) for subsequent analysis. Ensuring the correct execution of the analysis methods or determinations assigned, which includes performing verification calculations, safeguarding results and materials under their responsibility, and recording data within established timeframes. Organizing, ensuring, or preparing the necessary supplies, equipment, and/or accessories required for laboratory analyses, handling chemical reagents and controlling their quality before use. Ensuring and complying with all activities related to sample treatment, preparation of reagents and standards, as well as the integrity of results according to current procedures. Requirements: Formal Education: University Technician, Higher Level Technician (4 or more semesters) in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry. Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in classical and instrumental analysis for large-scale mining operations. Minimum required competencies: Proficiency in good laboratory practices. Knowledge of Quality Standards. Skills in mineral analysis techniques or methodologies.
