




Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Manager with experience in quality management for industrial or mining projects, for the mining division. Key Highlights: 1. Professional development within engineering and construction project environments. **R\&Q Engineering**, a consultancy specializing in comprehensive management of large-scale projects with 48 years of experience, is currently seeking a **Quality Manager** to participate in the tender process for the **Mining** division in **Calama**, **Antofagasta Region**! Estimated duration of the tendered contract: **36** months. **What Are We Looking For?** **Mandatory Requirements:** Qualified professional: A professionally certified civil engineer or construction engineer, with a minimum duration of eight (8) semesters. * Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management for industrial or mining projects. * Experience serving as Quality Manager (or equivalent role) in at least two multidisciplinary service, construction, or project contracts within the last three years. * Knowledge of developing, implementing, and controlling Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans (QAP/QCP). * Experience conducting internal and external quality audits. * Proven experience supported by verifiable references. **Additional Requirements** Complementary training or certifications in: * Quality Management, such as ISO 9001, Internal Quality Auditor, or equivalent qualifications supporting technical capability for quality assurance and control in engineering and construction projects. * Technical knowledge and ability to apply management methodologies and tools. **Key Functions and Responsibilities:** * Develop, implement, and maintain an updated Service Quality Plan, aligned with the mining company’s standards and regulations. * Ensure compliance with procedures, technical specifications, and applicable regulations across all service phases. * Coordinate and conduct internal quality audits, issuing corresponding reports and managing corrective and preventive actions. * Control and ensure traceability of quality-related service documentation (protocols, records, inspection reports, material certificates, etc.). * Submit periodic quality reports to Project Management, including performance indicators and identified findings. * Train and raise awareness among service personnel on quality assurance matters. * Represent the service before GPRO on all matters related to quality management, ensuring implementation of necessary actions to maintain the required standard.
