Position: Electrical Services Engineer Palas PH4100 Centinela Mine Site Position Purpose: Be responsible for the technical aspects enabling proper performance of mining equipment with high economic value, high productivity capacity, and high technical complexity, according to company policies and standards, considered critical within the mining extraction process. Functions and Responsibilities: Lead and/or participate in audit teams, capable of generating changes in this process, including new systems, new technologies, new measurement or testing equipment not included. Know, apply, and recommend best maintenance practices applied to equipment, such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), review of Maintenance Plans (PM), among others, using statistical and engineering tools for analysis. Be able to perform inspections and diagnostics on highly complex failures, thus being highly recognized in problem solving, using various analysis and recording tools for fault detection. Can draw conclusions based on data from different sources, considering internal and external variables of the equipment, using practical experience and available support networks. Propose changes to maintenance strategies based on new product updates, maintenance indicator trends, among others. Have a good understanding of factory standards, know and work with various available technical information sources. Be able to provide answers and solutions regarding specific product information, such as detailed technical specifications, product updates, interpretation of drawings, special procedures, among others.
