Finning, CATERPILLAR’s strategic partner and a leader in equipment distribution and services, is searching for top talent to fill the Planning Engineer role for Ministro Hales. Job Description Summary You will be responsible for ensuring efficient planning and administration of equipment components, optimizing resources and guaranteeing operational continuity at mining sites. Your role will be essential in coordinating and optimizing the use of critical equipment across various mining operations, ensuring appropriate and planned integration between component demand and supply. Key responsibilities include: * Plan and consolidate component planning for both traditional and expanded product lines. · Manage full component demand. * Inventory analysis and management. * Project evaluation. * Innovation, optimization, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications: Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering degree (or related field). Mandatory. Minimum 3 years of experience. Mandatory. 3 years of knowledge and experience with CAT equipment. Preferred. Required Knowledge: Cloud technologies Process management and statistical analysis Data visualization tools (Power BI preferred). Advanced English proficiency, both spoken and written (preferred). Advanced proficiency in computer tools within the Windows environment: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Understanding of risk prevention and environmental care variables. Knowledge of SAP and AMT.
