We seek a technical professional who enjoys working on-site, feels comfortable handling hardware and electronics, and finds satisfaction in restoring equipment to better-than-original functionality. Roles and Responsibilities Your mission will be to ensure the operational continuity, availability, and functionality of ATM equipment within your assigned zone (Calama and surrounding areas). Your main responsibilities will include: Primary Focus of the Role Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ATMs (automated teller machines). Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures in ATMs. Replace critical modules and components, ensuring equipment operability. Respond to on-site incidents, guaranteeing resolution within committed timeframes (SLA). General Job Duties Install, configure, and commission assigned equipment (ATMs, POS terminals, peripherals). Resolve service tickets and incident reports in real time. Prepare sites, organize cabling, and conduct basic operational tests. Manage and maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and assigned assets. Accurately record activities, time spent, spare parts used, and associated expenses. Maintain constant communication with the support center and logistics teams. Interact professionally and clearly with end customers on-site. Work with security escorts when required by the site. Inventory control. Submit weekly ticket reports. Job Requirements Technical Requirements Technical education in: Electromechanics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related fields. Prior experience in hardware maintenance: PCs, servers, peripherals, printers, routers, switches, or similar. Previous experience with financial equipment, especially ATMs. Demonstrable ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical failures. Skills and Competencies Ability to work autonomously in the field. Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to deadlines. Clear, customer-oriented communication. Ability to lift weights (1–20 kg) and perform physical tasks associated with the role. Other Requirements Class B driver’s license. Residence in Calama. Willingness and ability to travel across the region. Employment Conditions Initial fixed-term contract, with potential conversion to indefinite-term. 100% field-based work (Calama and nearby zones). Working hours: Day shift, scheduled according to ticket demand. Approximate net salary: $900,000 CLP.
