




Job Summary: We are seeking a technician to maintain and repair ATMs, resolving hardware and electronic issues to ensure equipment operationality. Key Highlights: 1. Responsibilities and Duties Your mission will be to ensure the operability, continuity, and availability of ATM equipment within your assigned zone (Calama and surrounding areas). Your main responsibilities will include: Primary Focus of the Role Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on ATMs. Diagnosing and repairing failures in mechanical, electrical, and electronic ATM components. Replacing modules and critical parts to ensure equipment operability. Responding to on-site incidents and guaranteeing resolution within committed timeframes (SLA). General Job Tasks Installation, configuration, and commissioning of assigned equipment (ATMs, POS terminals, peripherals). Resolving service tickets and incident reports in real time. Site preparation, cable management, and basic operational testing. Tool management and care, spare parts inventory, and assigned assets. Accurate logging of activities, time spent, spare parts used, and associated expenses. Constant communication with support centers and logistics teams. Professional and clear interaction with end customers on-site. Working with security escorts when required by the site. Inventory control. Submission of weekly ticket reports. Job Requirements Technical Requirements Technical education in: Electromechanics, Electronics, Electricity, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related fields. Prior experience in hardware maintenance: PCs, servers, peripherals, printers, routers, switches, or similar. Prior experience with financial equipment, especially ATMs. Demonstrable ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical failures. Skills and Competencies Ability to work autonomously in the field. Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to deadlines. Clear, customer-oriented communication. Ability to lift weights (1–20 kg) and perform physical tasks associated with the role. Other Requirements Class B driver’s license. Residence in Calama. Availability to travel throughout the region. Job Conditions Initial fixed-term contract, with potential conversion to indefinite term. 100% field-based work (Calama and nearby zones). Working hours: Day shift, based on ticket demand.
