It is globally recognized as the foremost benchmark for quality and integrity, with over 95\.000 employees and a network of more than 2\.400 offices and laboratories worldwide. ### **Position Description** We are seeking an **Operations Supervisor** with experience in **environmental monitoring (water)**, responsible for planning, controlling, and ensuring the correct execution of field services, guaranteeing quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Plan and supervise environmental sampling services (water, soil, sediments). * Ensure compliance with regulations, protocols, and monitoring programs. * Supervise result quality, personnel performance, and equipment usage. * Manage equipment and vehicle maintenance and status. * Evaluate, train, and certify field personnel competencies. * Control operational records and quality management system documentation. * Conduct on-site supervision and technical visits for new services. * Coordinate resources, materials, and supplies required for operations. * Support sampling activities when required. ### **Requirements** * Education: Technical or professional degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related fields. * Experience in water monitoring (mandatory). * Residence in Antofagasta (mandatory). * Class B driver’s license with minimum 2 years of validity. ### **Competencies** * Leadership and team management * Organization and planning * Quality and safety orientation * Proactivity and decision-making ### **Benefits** * Life insurance from day one * Benefits through Caja Los Andes and affiliated agreements * Birth and Christmas gifts for employees’ children * Special leave entitlements ✨ **Join SGS and become part of a team that positively impacts environmental protection!**
