We encourage you to take time to explore the opportunity of building a career with Freeport\-McMoRan. **Description** --------------- **Workshop Maintenance Technician** **Primary Function:** The primary function is to maintain, detect, and resolve faults to ensure the proper operation of equipment such as trucks, articulated booms, telescopic booms, generators, welders, front-end loaders, mini-loaders, motor graders, backhoes, and bulldozers. All of the above must be performed efficiently, safely, with quality, and with a focus on safe production, thereby ensuring operational continuity of the area. **Essential Functions:** 1\. Execute scheduled maintenance (PM) activities. 2\. Support preventive maintenance of equipment according to the established maintenance plan. 3\. Perform activities that promote and impact safety, environmental protection, energy efficiency, gender equality, and operational excellence. 4\. Carry out any other tasks assigned within the scope of work. **Qualifications** ------------------ **Minimum Requirements:** * Technical higher education degree in mechanical engineering or related field. * Industrial training preferred, with specialization in electromechanics. * Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of service equipment. * Knowledge of diagnostics for highway trucks, Hiab brand booms, generators, and software ET, SIS WEB Insite or similar. * Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electromechanical systems (including electronics and electrical components), and structural systems.
