R\&Q Ingeniería, an Engineering and Projects company with over 45 years of experience, is seeking a **Senior Geotechnical Engineer** to join an important bidding process within the Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Area (Mining) in the Antofagasta Region **Estimated duration of the contract to be bid: 24 months.** For this position, the following requirements apply: * Graduate holding a degree in Civil Engineering or Mining Civil Engineering specialized in Geotechnics * At least 8 years of general experience since date of graduation * Specific experience required (mandatory): * In work similar to geotechnical and hydrogeological characterization services (minimum 8 years) * As per requirement. Daytime shift under a 5X2 or 4X3 schedule, to be carried out at the EECC office, with occasional site visits. This role may be part of a consortium, subcontract, or freelance arrangement Main Responsibilities: * Main responsibilities include validating assumptions and definitions adopted in building models for stability analyses, reviewing technical reports, providing operational recommendations, and supervising the activities of the Junior Geotechnical Modeler. **Desired Profile** ------------------ * Graduate holding a degree in Civil Engineering or Mining Civil Engineering specialized in Geotechnics * At least 8 years of general experience since date of graduation * Specific experience required (mandatory): * In work similar to geotechnical and hydrogeological characterization services (minimum 8 years) * As per requirement.
