R\&Q Ingeniería, an Engineering and Projects company with over 45 years of experience, is currently seeking a **Junior Geotechnical Engineer** to join an important bidding process within the Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Area (Mining), in the Antofagasta Region **Estimated duration of the contract to be bid: 24 months.** The following requirements must be met: * Bachelor's degree holder in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering or Geology specialized in Geotechnics, with at least 5 years of general experience since date of graduation * Specific experience required (mandatory): * In geotechnical and hydrogeological characterization services (Minimum 5 years) * Suggested shift: according to project requirements. Daytime schedule under a 5X2 or 4X3 shift system, to be carried out at the contractor's office, with occasional site visits. This position may be part of a consortium, subcontract, or freelance arrangement Main Responsibilities: * Main responsibilities include the construction, calibration, and analysis of geotechnical models (numerical mechanical, hydromechanical, and limit equilibrium), as well as preparing technical reports compiling considerations, analyses, and conclusions of work performed, under the supervision of a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. **Desired Profile** ------------------ * Bachelor's degree holder in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering or Geology specialized in Geotechnics, with at least 5 years of general experience since date of graduation * Specific experience required (mandatory): * In geotechnical and hydrogeological characterization services (Minimum 5 years) * Suggested shift: according to project requirements.
