**Job Posting: Programming and Control Engineer – Calama** **Job Description:** We are seeking a **Civil Engineer or Construction Engineer** to join the **Programming and Control** department, responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling engineering and construction projects, ensuring proper scheduling of activities, resources, and compliance with deadlines and costs. **Key Responsibilities:** * Review and validate execution plans, work breakdown structures (WBS, OBS), and activity segmentation to ensure proper project planning. * Identify activities, interdependencies, and special conditions, consolidating comprehensive schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout. * Determine productivity rates, activity durations, groupings, and required resources, considering progress curves, milestones, and activity lists. * Analyze critical paths in schedules to optimize execution and reduce costs, as well as periodically update schedules and forecast trends. * Develop and maintain control tools such as Gantt charts, physical and financial flow reports, and schedule tracking reports. **Candidate Requirements:** * Degree in **Civil Engineering** or **Construction Engineering**. * Proven experience in **programming and control of engineering and construction projects**. * Knowledge of project planning, critical path analysis, and schedule optimization. * Proficiency in programming and control software (MS Project, Primavera P6 or similar). * Strong analytical skills, results orientation, and ability to monitor physical and financial progress indicators.
