Finning, CATERPILLAR’s strategic partner and leader in equipment and service distribution, is seeking top talent to fill the role of Contract Analyst – Chuquicamata UG, responsible for analyzing and executing administrative contract management processes, ensuring compliance with current labor regulations, maintaining up-to-date personnel databases, and supporting hiring processes, benefits administration, accreditations, labor audits, and other activities related to client Codelco (RESO) and internal Finning requirements.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Ensuring daily and monthly attendance control; timely delivery of Geo Victoria reports for client reporting purposes (Codelco, Sernageomin, and contract-specific requirements), as well as providing accurate information to department heads across the company to support decision-making.
* Creating, managing, and delivering various labor reports and documents required for payroll processing and Finning and subcontractor-related audits.
* Proficiency in and operational use of SUCAL, SAP, and ACH services.
* Timely delivery of accurate personnel payroll information without discrepancies.
* Maintaining 100% up-to-date documentation for supplier payments.
* Managing and monitoring vacations, leaves of absence, and training programs.
* Ensuring 100% up-to-date staff accreditations and training certifications under the contract.
* Maintaining a complete personnel database for both the main contract and subcontractors; supporting recruitment processes, benefits administration, and accreditation management.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Formal Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with at least four years of experience in similar positions.
Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with SUCAL and SAP platforms; knowledge of Codelco accreditation requirements; intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); understanding of labor laws; knowledge of labor reporting requirements for clients and DT (Dirección del Trabajo); user-level computer skills; knowledge of risk prevention in large-scale mining operations.
Residence in Calama.
Availability for 4x3 shift schedule.
