At ManpowerGroup, we are looking for an Operations Controller for a major Chilean transportation company located in the commune of Pudahuel: Position Purpose: Ensure comprehensive control and analysis of the operational and budgetary management of the Operations Management Department, monitoring financial compliance, evaluating performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), and generating strategic information to support decision-making. Additionally, promote continuous process improvement, manage operational risks, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations, contributing to operational efficiency, continuity, and safety. Functions and/or Responsibilities: 1) Control the budgetary management of the Operations Management Department, monitor variances, ensure compliance with financial guidelines, and provide visibility into efficient resource utilization. 2) Design, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational and financial performance, analyzing gaps between planned and actual execution to evaluate departmental performance. 3) Analyze operational and financial information, generating reports, analyses, and conclusions that support strategic decision-making by management and leadership. 4) Prepare and present periodic management reports, covering budgetary results, operational progress, and indicator compliance. 5) Drive continuous improvement of operational processes, proposing and implementing initiatives aimed at optimizing resources, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency. 6) Manage operational risks by evaluating procedures, identifying vulnerabilities, and promoting preventive and corrective actions to ensure operational continuity and safety. 7) Supervise compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls, including applicable regulations related to management, quality, safety, risk prevention, and cybersecurity within the area. 8) Support other activities inherent to the Operations Department, as directed by immediate management. Requirements: - Academic background: Industrial Civil Engineering, Business Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 3–5 years of experience in similar roles (experience in management control, auditing, or operational areas preferred). - Skills: Advanced proficiency in programming tools (Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, etc.) - English language proficiency (desirable). - Class B driver’s license (mandatory) Working Conditions: - Work schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm; Friday, 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. - Location: Pudahuel - Employment contract: Fixed-term contract for 2 months, followed by 3 months, then renewal to indefinite term. - Attractive benefits offered by the company. -Requirements- Minimum Education: University / Professional Institute / Technical Training Center. 3 years of experience Languages: English Driver's Licenses: B Keywords: operations, operaciones
