We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges.* ARAUCO is seeking professionals with a **Higher-Level Technical Degree in Mechanics or related fields**, and **at least two years of experience** in **forestry machinery or heavy equipment mechanics**, to work as a **Preventive Maintenance Technician** in the town of **Arauco**, for the **FORESTRY Business Unit**. **What will you do?** Carry out preventive maintenance activities according to the weekly schedule to ensure uninterrupted operational continuity of forestry assets, while safeguarding and complying with ARAUCO’s internal MASSO regulations regarding safety and the environment. **Key responsibilities:** * Perform preventive maintenance checklists on assigned equipment. * Conduct mechanical inspection checklists on assigned equipment. * Perform welding and minor fabrication tasks in the field, as assigned within the maintenance program. * Carry out measurement, inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks on wheeled or tracked systems. * Lubricate assigned equipment according to the maintenance program. * Implement organization, cleaning, and 5S practices in maintenance workshop trucks and service vehicles. * Identify and assess hazards and/or risks associated with each activity, jointly with your work team. **Requirements:** * Professional qualification: Higher-Level Technical Degree in Mechanics (or related field). * Minimum two years of experience in heavy equipment and/or forestry machinery maintenance. * Valid 4x4 vehicle driving license. * Class B driver’s license valid for at least two years (mandatory requirement). * Certified welding training course. * Availability to work administrative shifts in the Arauco area.
